What if you could help people communicate their ideas and develop actions to improve their neighborhoods and their lives?

And what if this could set a path and a practice for years to come?

For more than 20 years, MABP/Make A Better Place has been encouraging, inspiring and helping to positively impact the lives of more than 30,000 people around the world.

MABP/Make A Better Place works with partners in education, health, cultural, urban planning and social service disciplines to identify needs and opportunities and design specific programs, curricula and professional development support to enrich and enhance their services and work.

Our innovative approach is grounded in a belief in the power of the arts and each individual’s capacity to effect positive change. In program design and professional development, our active learning and arts-integrated methodology incites imagination and uncovers individuals’ unique abilities, promoting collaboration, productive dialogue, creativity and new ways of seeing and thinking — all capacities necessary for success in any field of endeavor.

By facilitating cooperative learning and promoting social engagement, new ways of seeing, and the critical thinking and communication skills that empower, MABP helps individuals lay the important foundation for lifelong learning and a practice of active participation in improving their work, their lives and their communities.
